Lake: St. Vrain State Park (Barbour Ponds)

any tips or advice would be great

me and a buddy are heading up to st vrain park this weekend. never really fished these ponds before just curious if some are more productive than others? and shore or belly boat tips would be much appreciated thank you

It really depends on what your fishing for and how your set up to do it. If your just after stockers the sandpiper is usually a good start. Bass can usually be caught and released in bald eagle which is catch and release and artificial only. There are plenty of other species out there. Park staff is usually fairly knowledgeable about what ponds have what fish. Good luck. I look forward to your condition report.
