Fish: Brook Trout

PB Brook

So, unfortunately I didn't get a picture, because I fish alone, and being a bass fisherman I'm still getting used to the less hearty and more fragile trout I'm catching. So therefore I'm probably a little TOO careful with trying to practice safe catch and release methods, lol..... but I caught my new PB Brook Trout today. Granted it's a small sample size since there aren't any in the waters I grew up fishing, but this baby was right around 13 or 14"... I'm hoping this PB doesn't last for long.

Very nice, congratulations on the PB. Too bad no photo as I think brooks are one of the prettiest fish in Colorado.

I’m with you SGM, I think they’ve become my favorite fish to catch around here because of how pretty they are.
