A Bay sled launch?

Post By: chip6      Posted: 2/8/2019 8:24:24 PM     Points: 17
Im almost positive the answer is no but thought I would check to win a bet with my pops. Can you launch a snowmobile from A Bay boat ramp? Last time I was up, the road wasn't plowed but don't know if that has changed. I will walk the 5.5 miles from sunset if I have to, who doesn't need more cardio? Thanks peeps.

Dike 3 would be closer lol.
No but there's an access point with a trail to lake off the main road across from ramp.

You asked, yes there is a trail that wasn't posted. I've used it for many years before that I would make my own.

Be hard for him to pull you out from hawaii/ alaska/mexico/atlantis or where ever else he might be at the time.
And careful... SteveO might just send you to the trail that dead ends at the porta potty.

There are several access points you can take sleds in on along the CR heading into Abay. Unless there is alot of recent snow, they should be plainly visable.

Yah Iím a has been, but part of me will always be there and happy to help from afar if I can since we have internet service in Atlantis now. I would only use that access early and late ice, when it was necessary, easier/safer to drive down than leave from the house.
