Ventured out in search of panfish, again. The early and late bite didn't disappoint but during the bright mid day sunshine it was a struggle. At least the wind was kind throughout the day, nothing over 5mph. We caught mostly crappie with a few dink perch thrown in from time to time. Anything white seemed to work. The bite was very light and hard to detect when the fish were on the bottom. But when they were suspended (usually 5'-10' off the bottom) the bite was easily seen. We caught over 30 crappie, with one limit kept between the two of us. We also managed to hook in to about 10 bass with the biggest being 13". I was bitten off twice. The tip up was set up and we got one flag all day. But it was a nice surprise with a 23" catfish.
