How the slush?

How's the slush doing? Did it get cold enough this week to firm it up a bit? Going up in the morning try to decide on Granby or green mountain

Got out on Friday and most of the slush had firmed up making it much better to get around with out getting stuck. Only spot I ran into was over by Ford's Hump. Really caught me off guard when the snowmobile dropped through the crust water started flying everywhere. Never felt the sled hit solid ice I just floored it and got back to firm snow and ice. Did a great job of filling my sled with water off of the track. Did catch anything only had a few lookers, I guess its going to take me a little bit before I figure out Grandby after years of doing well at Green Mountain. At least I was able to test out the new auger rack I made for the front of the snowmobile(see pic).

Nice -A- Rack! Is it made from 80/20 aluminum extrusion?

Drove from Sunset to A Bay on a snowmobile. Only a few small pockets of slush, there is about 4" of frozen slush on top of the ice in a lot of places.

Starting to smoothe out a little now but its been a real rough ride since the tourney. Most of the slush has frozen but you can still find some here and there. Biggest issue has been the huge rutty areas from the tourney slush. Theyve frozen over and are very rough. Be careful if you drive fast... Theyre enough to yard sale your gear.

Fishing Freds- I think it's Bosch extrusion but it's like 80\20. Now I just need to make a latch to lock it in instead of using a bungee cord.

Yup, same stuff, great to work with! I have it on my sleigh but it sure holds slush/snow/ice. My other sleigh is aluminum tubing hitched and I like it better. Great job on your mount! love to see cool custom stuff!
