Winter access conditions to meadow creek

Anybody have any experience getting up to meadow creek res in the winter. If I take a sled up there how is the road? How far up 84 can you drive before you need to park? Is it a relatively straight shot? The rangers are furloughed and I was thinking of heading up there for an adventure but don’t want to get in over my head. I would love to hear from anyone who has done it in the winter.
