Running Kokes yet?

I'm heading up to Wolford today, was planning on hitting WF on the way back. Are the Kokes running at the inlet yet?

I fished WF last week. There is no fishing/snagging the inlet stream or the lake out to the buoy lines. This year the CPW moved the buoys further out into the lake than in previous years.

That's a function of how many eggs we need out of Williams Fork. We really need WF to come through for us this year with a decent number. We're going to be short statewide.

From what i saw this year, like Granby, the numbers at the Fork seem to be way down. Hopefully you guys get the needed eggs, but I think you should extend time at Wolford beyond what's planned. The numbers seemed to be much much better than any other lakes in the area. Hopefully someday Granby, Williams Fork, and Green Mountain will all get their Kokanee populations back to where they used to be. I am crossing my fingers you guys are successful and there isn't a shortage.
