Hi its Boog,
I have 2 questions
1. How is the water level? can you walk along the shore in 1 foot tall boots from the bridge to the Valco ponds parking lot? Because when I went this summer it was raging! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Either 1' tall boots, or flip flops, it's dry in Colorado.

Boog, there was a report from the 24th and you can see how the river is flowing just below that. Itís running 166 cfs. I would advise stop asking so many questions about the body of water you want to fish. Do a little research on the flows, fishing reports already out there, and the weather. After that you should have all the info you need. Fishing is a puzzle every time you are on the water and thatís part of the fun. Most guys on this site are not going to give up info because they have worked hard to figure out that puzzle on a regular basis. Just go fish! Itís much more rewarding to figure out a pattern without the help of others.

Give the guy a break. We all ask questions at some level or another. exchanging info is what this website means to me and most of us. I have been fishing for about 65 years and still have questions. There is no such thing as a dumb question.

NParker - normally would agree with you 100%. However the OP posted a conditions report (since removed) that rainbows in the Ark river are spawning, posted that Upper reservoir is low (it's at capacity) posted Palmer Lake was 72 degrees (in fact it was 52), posted he saw large pike jumping in Palmer Lake..(unless bucket biology has occurred, it has no pike) posted he caught 2000 fish this year (zero evidence) most of which are blue gill from Palmer Lake but cannot catch any fish in Monument. Oh and also stated he caught a Palomino trout (again no proof) from Ark river. While truthfully none of it actually violates FxR rules, it is all highly questionable not to mention the incessant posts asking or bragging without any indication of being accurate. As pointed out by Bron, currently this is only a little inconvenience for members to discover the conditions aren't accurate.. Come ice season it could mean a completely wasted trip or even turn deadly. 2 years ago we had a person go through the ice here at Monument.

Boog - I truly hope you read that and reflect a little on your conditions reports and posts. Here is the blog for new members Bron asked me to post for you on one of your other posts. [log in for link]

By all means, please ask questions, just think a little before posting. There are tons of people willing to help with invaluable info.

BTW rainbow trout in the northern hemisphere start to spawn around January when water temps hit between 42 and 44 degrees. In the Southern hemisphere (South America) they are spawning now

There are other sites you can visit that are more suited to folks like you. We are pretty sure you are Ziruix and dont know why you keep coming back. Go to another site. FXR is the premier site for fishermen to exchange info and knowledge..

You ...even if you are not Boob/Ziruix are doing nothing but false reports and rapid fire random questions that make little sense.

Boob, if you are not him you are identical. Back off, watch, learn, read the AWB blog. We want new members but you arent contributing. You are a liability.

If you are Ziruix...which we think you are...fins down and get lost.

How about a photo of you with a fish?
