Has anybody fished here? We are headed down that way this weekend to dove hunt. Getting down there Friday afternoon and would like to fish for a few hours. Can I expect to catch anything?

Clay Creek was fishing good until the big rain on July 25. The picture was taken July 26 I haven't been since, but it was blowing through there hard. May not be much left. I would look at Midwest farm ponds over by Granda

That's crazy. Must have been a major storm. What was all in there? Catfish, bass, bluegills? Just looking to kill some time in the evening on friday and when hunting slows mid day Saturday and Sunday.

Mainly bass and catfish. You might also try the Northgate ponds in Lamar. The front pond gets hammered but the back ponds are better. They have Bass ,catfish ,crappie, saugeye, bluegill.
