Forum: Shelf and Solitude Lakes (RMNP)

Managed to make it out to RMNP this past week. My friend and I hiked up to Shelf Lake (the one near McHenry's Peak). Although fish were plentiful and biting in other nearby lakes, Shelf Lake appeared sterile. I saw very little insect activity and not a single sign of fish. We didn't have time to go ...
