For all my friends back home in Colorado. Walleye fishing on the big lake has slowed down till the fall run so went and hit the Red River in Silkirk Manitoba for some of it's legendary cats. Didn't hook up with anything huge but managed a 37" 38 1/2" and a 35" in about an hour or so. Ohoo and just a tease for those who don't know me a average walleye from this spring still trying to cross the 31" line.
Lake Winnipeg in Manitoba. The lake is know for it's ability to produce monster walleye and unique to only hear what we call Greenback Walleye. The limestone sand bottom is said to give them a brilliant green color. Ohoo btw we have crappie too, search Youtube for North Cross Lake for an awesome trip.
