Been fishing there twice this week out by the buoys the slabs are hitting minnows pretty good I’ve seen at least 15 to 20, all around 10 to 14 inch slabs get pulled out of the bouys by the pier the bluegill are also tearing up worms really good

I just wish I was the one pulling in the slabs LOL

I did pull in a 16 inch smallmouth on a worm of all things And in two trips with two of us about 60 decent size bluegill

$10 to drive in and $2 a person to walk in,, $8 for a trailered boat and $5 for non trailered watercraft...

The gills range from 3"-8" most in the 5" range but you can easily cook them up.

I can point you to a cool video that shows how to eat em whole vs fillet them which loses about 30% of the edible meat )

Planning to take my kids up tomorrow to fish a little, any information is helpful. Also I have a glastron boat with inboard motor, it seems like I can take it on the lake, just no wake allowed, am I correct?
