Under gray skies, friend and I fished both sides of the lake. There were a scant few rises, so we dragged nymphs deep hoping that was the cure. Black wooly bugger, Red WB, renegade, black caddis larvae all did little to excite the trout. I know there are lots of fresh water snails in the lake, and I suspect that they may have been selectively gulping those down. Great as always to be out tho!
