Heading up 8-8 thru 8-11 and just curious if anyone has been there since the last update on the 7-22. Doing some ATV'ing and getting a pontoon for 2 of the mornings. We mostly troll with lead core line, cow bells and a worm and its been slow with that the last 2 years we've been up there. Any info will help. Thanks in advance.

don't have an update on the water itself. Just be aware Cottonwood Pass is closed.

Lake was the lowest I've ever seen in 25 years that I've been going up there. Creeks and River going into Taylor were too low to fish. They have markers out on the east side of the lake marking low spots. There were still a lot of people fishing below the dam as usual. Even mirror lake was lower than I've seen. Fishing up there was pretty good for brookies and small rainbows. We trolled 2 mornings at Taylor and caught about 24 rainbows. A lot of stockers but I did managed a nice 18". Gotta go deep to catch the big ones and we didn't have the gear for that this year. Still love the heck out of that place. 70+ miles on ATV's and good times around the camp fires. Already planning the trip for next year!!
