Decided to try Stearns since I can walk there and runoff is taking all the fun out of Big T canyon... Managed to hook up several carp on backstabbers, but landed none. Had 1 on for 5 minutes that made a run to the middle of the lake, well into my backing. Landed a crappie, a few bass and some little bluegills. Much fun!

Awesome pics! Looks like a great time! I used to fish at Stearns as a kid. I remember catching lots of bullhead. Nothing like tying into one of those carp on the fly!
