I have been fishing all my life practically and I don't think I have ever seen conditions like I have been experiencing. Ok, we get there and the first thing I hear is some guy saying he had been there 4 hours, and zero action. Well we figured it's just a matter of luck sometimes but we had the same experience. No bites, nibbles nothing. And I tried everything in my tackle box. The fish could be seen just floating barely moving and the crayfish were all either dead or dying. Anyone have a clue? I hate to assume anything but we had the same thing happen just about 3 weeks ago at 11 Mile and Terryall and the creeks and rivers.

We also fished DeWeese and Elevenmile recently, two weeks ago to be exact, and nothing, not even a bite.

I have tried fishing at DeWeese several times in the last 2 years and have yet to catch anything there other than crawdads.

Fishing for browns in Grape Creek below the dam, is usually good this time of year when the discharge flows come up.
