Sucker King 👑

So I clearly claimed the Sucker King title Sunday with a 21” MA sucker and two others at 17” and a tail hooked 19” sucker in full spawn with the most orange belly I have ever seen. Definitely the high lite of the day. At first I thought it was one of those nasty monster browns, but was delighted to see the prettiest sucker I have caught. Of course it was released, and since Russ refused to let it touch his net, I had to slip the hook out without possible injury to such a magnificent creature.Russ took a pic for proof but is holding it hostage for one of my beers.

Lol thats awesone. Kev caught about a 7 lb drum today and wouldnt let me take a pic of him with it.

I will have to admit he smoked my butt catching those suckers 4 to nothing. But to give him full credit if your going to catch suckers, why not make the big and Master Angler quality. I'm not sure about all the moon phase concepts for fishing but I know this time the FULL MOON had something to do with it!

Daggumitt Russell!!! You just gave up half of the well guarded inside scoop to even get a glimpse of one of these rare FEMALE specimens. (They only tail slap jigs on a PINK full moon! Must be a fire somewhere😊)You are just so jealous! All you could catch was those 20 slimy browns, especially the one with the super snaggy sharp teeth!

Those teeth are no joke! I split one of those cuts open again today and it was not fun.

Browns one, my thumb zero, also known as hamburger.

I know, I wont have this problem if I keep my fingers out of their mouths.

Lol! Nice catches guys! I hit the other end Sunday and seen some really healthy Bows on the shoreline! One grouping had about 20 Bows in a 20 yard stretch with a least 4 or 5 in the 3-5 lb range!

Pretty sure that might be next although right now Russell still has the Slimer Belt, since Monday at BM he caught more than I! And like Jimmy Johns, “what took you so long??” to comment, I figured you would be the first to jab me! Of course, you may be at Lake Powell now catching those nasty green bass!
