Wow FXR actually censored the post about not liking censorship

Post By: Kokanee Bro      Posted: 4/20/2018 10:40:51 AM     Points: 239
I will not be renewing my subscription... it is one thing to remove a post because it maybe got too political, but removing posts because they critique your sites censorship is just wrong. I am sure this post will also be removed so donít worry your reputation wonít be harmed. Donít worry about what your customers thinkówhy would you? I contribute way more to this site then I ever got out of it anyway.

Censorship is by the government. As this is a private site they can control content and you and either subscribe or not. That's what makes it a free country. You can also start your own blog site.

This should be an interesting back and forth to watch. What a can of worms you opened. After putting 2 kids through college I am amazed by what I have seen, What is happening in this country is truly amazing. The Denver Post is going down the tubes. They reaped just what they have sown. Now the editor is begging on the street corner for the public or some successful entrepreneur (who they discredit) to bail their A@@ out. Go fish bro!

Definitely will not be a back and forth because they removed the ability to reply...

The original post was taken down because of the nature of how it was written and the direction it was heading. The post about censorship was removed because it deals with the admin of this site.

We appreciate your contributions and involvement, but sometimes we make decisions like this not from a personal angle, but instead to keep some civility and keep the train on the tracks.

If the subject matter is relevant and important, perhaps starting another post (or submitting a guest blog) on the subject is a good idea, keeping in mind that we appreciate it being done so intelligently, cordially, and well-behaved. There are some worthy discussions to have, and they can be had in many places, but on this site they need to be civil Ė remember there are kids here wanting to learn about fishing.

This forum is primarily for discussion of fishing, letís keep it that way, and letís maintain a little bit of decency as we do so.

Understand that managing a diverse and open forum like this isnít easy and that we wonít be able to please everyone all the time. If you have an issue dealing with the administration of the website, please contact us directly.
