Fishing Buddy Alert

Post By: Slay them with AVET      Posted: 4/18/2018 12:43:20 AM     Points: 3
Hello fellow fisherman,
At the moment I'm a stay at home dad during the day and at night I become a fish hunter (Ha,Ha).

I strictly target Carp and Catfish from the bank/shore and when the weather is too hot during the summer I fish at night. I've only lived in Morrison Colorado for 3 years and have only been fishing freshwater for aprrox 3 years. I'm willing to drive to catch the mighty flathead Catfish (no problem.

Looking for mature fishing buddies that are at least in their 40's (I'm 49).
I don't do drugs but I'll drink a beer or 2.

Welcome fellow catter. Thereís a few of us around.
Even less of the mighty Flathead, youíre going to have to drive 500 miles for that species. Channel cats rule in Colorado for the time being. You might be surprised by the size.
Most of the guys I know also have a vetting system. They are out there just not jumping around saying here I am. We do have a private FB page called Colorado Catfisherman some stuff is shared and some not so much. On this web site fish explorer there is very extensive history you wonít get anywhere else though. Research it. And you will find what your looking for.
Good luck and welcome to Colorado

You are correct there are flatheads in
J- mart and P-low just not as mighty as the channel cats.
But in J-mart they are getting larger every year. And Pueblo they havenít taken so well but some are in that lake. It would be nice to see a 50 pounder some day wouldnít it?

Colorado Catfisherman, great group of people, even if they are obsessed with their catfish !

I've never caught a decent catfish even though I've tried plenty of time. Wouldn't mind going after them for some night fishing. I live up in Westminster (144th and I-25, near Cabelas). I'll be 53 this year, no booze or drugs, but plenty of other bad habits... You did say mature.... oh well. Do I still qualify? :)
