How'd EVERYONE Do on Quincy today?!

Lots and lots of folks on Quincy Res today. The shoreline was full all around the lake. Lots of kayaks, and boats out too. We were trolling around in my canoe. Started off leaving the boat launch, trolling crawdads, immediate hits and then a trout! Stocker. Cruised across the dam, bunk. Saw fish on the fish finder, and had hits, just on the east side of the point straight across from boat launch. Trolled crawdads primarily all day. I did catch a Rainbow on a shiny silver minnow crank. Lost many, most likely trout. And caught one Crappie! Saw lots of dudes hauling up Largemouth Bass using jigs, in maybe 20ft water. We kept trolling, we kept getting Rainbow hits. Left the lake around 2:30-3ish, got too windy and overcast. It was all and all a decent day on Quincy Res. How did you all do??

Wasn't out there today, but also lots of cars in the lot as I drove by. Had my new kayak out for the first time Thursday. [log in for link]

fargingicehole, how do you like the PDL after your first trip?

The Old Town Predator PDL is Amazing! Total boat control, even in the wind, while my hands are free to fish. And it's FAST! Way better than having to paddle around with your arms.

How tall are you? Do you think someone mostly legs at 6'4" can work one of these without feeling cramped?

Yep that's a sick ride. Maybe one of these days.

Not from Quincy but a nice fish. Think it has a little peacock Bass in it lol

Snowscum, I am 5'10" and there is PLENTY of seat adjustment for someone your height. It's a big kayak at 13.5' long and 117 lbs with the pedal drive.

Caught a few trout and this bucket mouth.

Nice rig man. Might have to purchase the pedal drive unit for my Predator XL so I can fish those lakes that don't allow the trolling motors.

The pedal drive console alone costs $1000! It says it doesn't fit the XL or MK Predators.
