Hey Guys/Gals,

It's been awhile since I posted on here and I appreciate all the support on my YouTube channel. I wanted to reach out for some help as my wife and I found a Drone on the Blue River. A nice one too. I made a video about it so everyone knows where I am at on being able to track down the owner.

I know this is a large and strong community of Colorado Anglers so maybe, just maybe, the person who lost it is in these forums.

Take a look here and tight lines. ----> [log in for link]

Guessing he was an out-of-stater because he was driving a rental car. Cool that you were able to see the video of how it crashed. I wonder if there is a way to look up his drone registration from the serial number on the drone... All drones are required to be registered now so maybe that is another route to go. Good for you to put in so much effort to return it to its rightful owner.

Nice vid
You have the plate number to the rental car maybe try that angle? Did the cop tell you which rental company owned the car? If not there are only a few. And do you have the approximate dates the car was filmed.

I wonder why he did not put his FCC number on the Drone? He should have.

All this probably not worth the hassle maybe just keep it for parts for yours. I mean what is the guy doing to do with it once you get it back to him?Not much, Hes probably going to trash it anyway. If he had INS or not its probably been replaced.

If you are trying to find the owners, I would suggest you post a photo of the guy with the controllers without the big smiley emoji blocking out his face.

There's lots of fb drone groups. I'm sure if it was mine I'd look on drone pages not the fishing pages for lost drone. Awesome on you looking for owners. They probably have their info registered to the drone if you can hook a USB to it
