CPW Future Generations Bill SB18-143

Post By: jibber      Posted: 2/11/2018 9:25:44 AM     Points: 8130
The CPW Future Generations funding bill, SB18-143 is presently in the Senate Finance Committee. Committee voting on the bill may happen Tuesday. If interested in supporting the bill, phone or E-mail your state senators. Especially if you live in Centennial or Castle Rock as two members of the committee live in that area. To find your state senator visit [log in for link]

I have volunteered with CPW for the past ten years and found the staff to be hard working and mission focused. Whether spawning Walleyee at Chatfield or shocking fish in Waterton Canyon these people work hard to provide us with the best fishing they can. I don't always agree with what they do but I have found that my view is really small compared to the bigger picture.

The bill passed the senate finance committee and is now going to the appropriations committee. There is a good chance this bill will become a law. Thanks to all who contacted their legislators.

Really sticking it to the non-residents... I wonder what type of impact this will have on the revenue generated by OOS hunters/anglers.

I'd like to see a pool of water purchased for Bonny Reservoir.
