Anybody know the ice conditions at jumbo?

I'd like to know as well, since I am heading back home soon. I'd like to get as much ice fishing done as possible.

Last week there was 6" at the outlet with 4" of snow on top. The annex had about 4".

I was at north Sterling today. 8 inches along the dam but edges are soft. Watch for pressure ridges and cracks.
May go to jumbo on Sunday. Will update if we go out there.

RK - You get into any walleye?

No walleye today. Only thing we caught this afternoon was a nice bluegill. Going back out to North Sterling in the morning

Good luck. Jigging rattle spoons and dead sticking minnows has worked for me. Of course, that's after you find em

Thanks for the tip! We marked quite a few fish we couldn't get to bite, don't know what they were. Well be using spoons and jigging raps tomorrow to try and catch a few.

I was at north sterling last weekend. Got the skunk...which is rare. Marked tons of fish. I think they were mostly baitfish, specifically shad. Had many large bait balls come through when I tried deeper water. No predators following them.

Fished north Sterling the past three days, never went to jumbo. Caught lots of bluegills and that was it. Marked lots of fish in deeper water but couldn't get them to commit. Ice is deteriorating fast. Was 6-8 inches everywhere on the east side where we drilled but there was a very large pressure ridges and a few big open water holes starting to form. Water clarity less than 6 inches and the lake is down 10-12 feet.
