There really are perch in the mile

I iced a 6 inch perch this morning at 11 mile and watched many more small schools on my camera for a couple of hours this morning. There definitely are some in here.

I wonder how widespread they are?

Yep but never saw one much more than 7-8 inches. Not really sure why they never took off but the mile never has been a good perch fishery.

Disclaimer: I fully intend to heckle and harass any and all ice weirdos at any given opportunity.

Now that the disclaimer is out of the way... That is pretty cool Cisco. First one I've seen come out of there and while small it looks very healthy.

Nice to see they are still there. A few years back I got 3 that were 8"-10" through the ice.

Did eleven mile get any snow out of this last storm?

On our way home we hit the edge of the storm at Fairplay. Not sure if it made it to the mile or not.
