Well guys I had my first ice trip if the year and it wasn't bad at all.. hit 2 lakes up and both well iced up..
1st road canyon reservoir got their and ice was anywhere from 1in to 6in. Fished it for about 1hr or so and ice was LOUDDD lol scared me a few times.

2nd seepage lake. Well first of all road was open but beat up badddd definitely need 4x4 my jeep had to go on crawling mode I'm some stretchess.anyways got their and drilled holes by the Dam and ice their is solid anywhere from 4in to 8in but go north of the lake and the ice varies alot and had very soft spot.. caught fish here and water was crystal clear. Seen the fish swim by and hit my jig..

So that being said road canyon I'd give it another week for safe safe ice but if anyone braver than me go ahead and drill it.. had a blast

Good job making it through the rough elements. I scratched the ice itch very well all weekend at Taryall.
