Nice fish, congrats on your success. What was the magic bait/lure if you don't mind sharing. That first fish is just beautiful, a classic brown in spawning colors.

Good catches fellas. Neither of you strike me as fly fisherman so I take it they were caught on a jerk bait or a kastmaster? I'm kidding with the question I don't want you to give it away.

Nope not a fly guy anymore unless it is on a spinning rod behind a bubble. Close on the baits but not quite.

are you afraid to say were you are fishing

It's obvious where they are fishing if you're a addicted fisherman. If not well someone blatantly has to tell you, and just for fun I can't.

Yenko, not affraid just smart. Took a long time to find these areas that are not over crowded and hold big fish. Saying I caught them at XYZ lake/river can lead to a lot of new friends showing up. That is also why folks black out back grounds on photos. You can say I caught lakers at Blue Mesa but most folks are not going to give away spots.

Luckily Blue Mesa is so large you can find a honey hole and stick to it and a lot of the background looks similar.
