Did Echo look safe to icefish or is it just skim?

Thanks for asking that Bron.

My question on top of that is.. Do they allow a person to drive to the lake, I thought it was closed for the season?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry no picture
It had that full whitish gray look to it. Kinda ruff looking to
It was 6 degrees at the ski area this morning
If I would have had my fishing stuff I would have tried.
Remember your ropes and water rescue equipment for earl ice
There were animal tracks on the ice.

Echo is right there off highway 103. You can drive to it unless they close the highway due to weather.

Riper, Bron

Thank you both for explaining, I was confused between which lake was which.

Nice to hear Georgetown is capped, I know it won't last but it's a good feeling.

I was up there last weekend half the lake is still open water with a very unsafe cap on the other half.first time I have ever seen it like that.i have ice fished it for 15 plus years, before the ice gets too thick and kills the fish.
