Christmas 2011 my wife bought me my first float tube.. a Fish Cat IV. That tube has been through the ringer.. one year I over-inflated it and the seam burst. Even though it was my fault, Fish Cat repaired it for $15. The left ballast has sprung a leak twice and they have replaced it twice.
Christmas 2012 The Boss bought me my first toon.. my red one I flipped at Spinney. Well this year one of the ballasts sprung a small leak.. it is usable but after a full day on the water it lets out a little air. So I contact Fish Cat and guess what? They're replacing the ballast. They truly stand by their 5 year warranty. There's a reason I have 2 tubes and 2 toons from them.
I'm sincerely an advocate for their company, I will spend the extra dollars for the quality and level of service as it provides peace of mind.
Couldn't agree more Jim, I started with a Fish Cat then a Fat Cat and both were great tubes, sold both with spare bladders to a fellow FXR person and he has also had great service from them. I moved up to an NRS Gig-Bob pontoon and it too is a great product from a reputable company. I now have three of these toons and couldn't be more pleased, they work well as designed and work even better with a 2.5 Suzuki hanging off the back. My original 2009 boat now has over 1,000 trips on it and works as new, NRS also is pricey but also has a 5 year warranty. Bill.

that carry bag is worth it's weight in gold! The Fish Cat IV came with one and it will fit you tube, fins, waders and more gear. If I remember, I'll take a pic of mine when I get home.. it ain't dear as pretty as your bag.

BTW, I found a Fish Cat stripping apron a week or so ago at Cheerio Beach and brought it up to the ANS inspector at the entry, if you lost it you can pick it up there, it looks exactly like the one in the.earlier post. Bill
