I have been fishing these ponds hard pretty much everyday this year. After many many fishless days I'm finally starting to figure them out. Wacky rigged senckos, spinner baits, and buzzbaits have been the ticket for me. Now it's time to figure out commerant pond. Any tips?

Cormorant is a fun pond, and there are some hogs in there. It generally has a pretty dark stain, so I throw lots of black and blue and do well. Get a jig into that wood! They eat chart/white spinnerbaits there pretty good too. Most of the pond drops off quickly to 6-7 feet but theres one good mellow point that fishes well. A kayak or belly boat makes a big difference here, it seems the big girls really like those islands and the mess of timber around them.
I have really good luck with pumpkin colored soft plastics in all those ponds. There are some hogs in there. The big pond has not been too kind to me, but the others have. Kayak makes a world of difference too.
