I am honored to become the Lake Skipper of Standley Lake! I am currently working as a seasonal staff at the lake, and can provide tons of information on the lake if needed.

Fishing, The lake was stocked with Rainbow Trout on 6/2, and fishing has been good for trout (as you can expect) but the Walleye fishing has slowed. Bass are shallow, and there is a great chance for them from shore right now.

The lake is full and no more water will be added at this time, so the water temp should start to rise. Currently 68.

Still a GREAT walleye fishery, 6-8 pounders are caught every week

I would like to fish Standley,but the cost/crazy regs make that lake a pipe dream for me.It's almost like they don't want any fishermen to fish from a boat. So very sad . . .I live just 10 min away.

How about catfish? Were walleyes taken by boat or shore?
