Was having coffee with a buddy and he informed me there was a large white bass/wiper/striper caught out east. Quick Google search and I found this:

That is a hog for sure, this new record might stand for awhile at that size.

What a beast! How deep/wide is the river there? Bet that fish wished he had stayed in the reservoir.

Agreed, however I do think the white bass record will be broken also and will probably be at this same location.

Shiverfix- Thanks for adding the link. I must be blind or be lacking in technological know how as I don't know how to add the "link" to a post.

The story I heard from by fishing buddy is they were not exactly sure what this fish was (striper/wiper/white) so they were going to DNA test to be sure. I bet it put up one heck of a fight!

Two state records in two years coming out if those waters.
