Any general tips for crappie at Union, and what is the water level looking like?

The water level is low at Union. Once the snow starts melting the water level will be back to or close to full.

Nice fish! Piggy fosho! Is that 12" rule for crappie still in effect? Haven't fished it in years. No desire to but just curious.

That's a real slab of a crappie nice going. The only thing wrong is that it's a black crappie, whites have vertical lines on the sides and 6 or less spines on the dorsal fin.
