I used to fish this pond as a kid for carp. Anyone ever fished it? Its close to where i live off the highline canal and was thinkin about takin the kiddos. Still have fish in it?
That's new then, I haven't fished it in years, but the DOW website lists it as fishable water (or did last year). I never fished it, but I've seen carp in there as recently as last year. Bet they're spooky, but they were in there.
Kind of sucks if it's off limits now. Was a good place for kids to learn! Easy access, and plenty of parking. (and a relatively safe space)
Maybe the "no fishing" signs are seasonal? Wouldn't hurt to check with the city.

There is some kind of senior center ringht next to the lake and I got asked not to let my dog swim by the Aurora "code enforcement" person,as the seniors felt it was harassing the ducks . . .go figure!There are better places for Carp in that part of town.
