Perch? I would say no. Never seen or heard of a perch come out of Ridgway... If you want some slimers then heck yeah!

Edit - just looked at the Ridgway lake page and I think it is off a bit. Never seen or heard of perch or splake out of there and there are small mouth - not large mouth....

What I have personally seen from Ridgway -
Rainbow Trout
Brown Trout
Small mouth

Crawford is where you want to go for Perch. Either that or the Blue Mesa. Ridgeway does have some bass though.

There are perch in Ridgway. I have caught them in open water near the boat ramp. and in some of the coves. Not many and only one with size but it was 12" Not sure how prolific they are in there and that was quite a few years ago.

I also have caught perch in Ridgeway , over 20 years ago. The mineral content in the water affected the fish because they did not act right. Caught them in the upper end of the lake.

I've caught rainbows, browns, kokes, perch, SMB and LMB. All the perch were dinks.

I have caught several perch here. Not as many as Crawford but all and all a lot bigger.

We fished a cove with downed trees three years ago at Ridgway and caught several like that and seven at 8". All others I ever caught were about 4" and I never found the bigger ones again.
