Forum: Arkansas above Canyon City to Salida in winter?

Is this a feasible option??? Has anyone fished this stretch in winter and does it get a lot of ice? Is it good for floating bait/eggs/powerbait etc. or more for nymphs? Just looking for more non ice fishing options this winter.
