Went there recently with my dad and there's a lot of work being done on it. It has been slightly drained and work being done on the north west corner. Built a long dirt ramp down to the lake. Are they putting a boat ramp in? My dad thought it might have been for the division of wildlife to stock it easier and put more structure in. My only concern is that it looked like a sidewalk going down to the lake which I think would disrupt the fishing on that side. Any info appreciated
The residents of Meadowglenn and the City of Arvada have been worried for years about the erosion of Pomona lake's north bank. The city finally found some money to reconstruct that side. The work started in August and may be finished in December. The water level has been lowered about 12 feet and heavy equipment have been working along the north bank, re-contouring the bottom. They've also removed most of the trees on that side. I've been told that the water is as low as it's going to get but let's hope the fish make it through to next season.
