i was wondering if any one has been to gross res. yet if so could you tell me how the ice is and thank you for you help

I think i'll head up today. Always wanted to ice fish this thing, mabey i'll actualy catch some fish being able to get to the middle of water and what-not. I'll update later!!!!

I wouldn't go to the middle of gross, it will be way to deep. Try to go to the inlet, or stay close to the shore for the best ice fishing

Always remember to exercise caution at Gross, as the ice can be iffy because of the fluctuating levels. Hope you get some macks!

Mountain matt, Splake are hard to single out, I usually catch them when fishing for lakers. When fishing for Mack's I would find a flat between 20 and 60 feet deep, the fish might be suspended.
