Deweese res. thickness?????

Anyone have information on the thickness of the ice at Deweese Res.???? Wanting to take my young nephew out and was wonerdering if it was safe yet?

I have not been there myself, but have heard that they are ice fishing. However the same guy that told me has was ice fishing there, also said he caught a bunch of Tiger Muskie-like 5. I don't believe his story about the muskie, however I do believe it is locked up.

Was there on Mon Dec 31, there was about 6-7 inches of ice, alot of people were running around lake, youngens as well! Although be cautious of side roads around lake, lots of snow drifts that are pretty deep, saw people getting pulled out in some areas. Fishing was average, fat stockers mainly. Good Luck1

This is another lake we will add to the site before spring. It does have numbers of tiger muskie in it in regards to stocking. If anyone fishes it often enough, we need a [log in for link]
