Lake: Siena Reservoir

Not sure how prevalent it might be, as I haven't kept many fish out of Sienna, but I figured I'd mention it, as I kept one the other day for the pan... when I cleaned it I was somewhat surprised to find plentiful Roundworms in the gut.
I've read conflicting reports about the likelihood of roundworm infection from fish, but there is documentation of cases if it, so it seems it is at least possible.
If you keep any fish from this lake, be sure to watch for that, clean your hands well after, and make sure to get them cooked well.

I'd already kept it before I knew. But I read up on it and what I read was to clean it carefully (I'd fillet my fish, generally, even bluegills and crapie) and then cook it well.
I just happened to find the worms becuase I check the gut to know the diet...
