The lake had a complete winter kill last year and the first stocking was in the first week in June. I don't know what the schedule is but that seems to be the pattern for most years. It only takes a couple of weeks for the fish to start feeding on the natural food and grow at a good pace, some reaching a pound and a half in the fall. Lots of weeds all year long makes it a challenge with a fly and bubble probably being the most effective method. They no longer allow parking along the lake so get there early to find a parking spot at the designated lot at the west end of the lake. This could be a problem during the weekends in the summer.
