That isn't a J-Spec, its an XXL.

2015 was a very bad year for my angling addition, I'm happy to say I've done vastly better this year and things are just picking up.

I was using an "original floating" rapala in 3" and it was the same size as my little friend there, but he tried to eat it!

Went back this afternoon with my daughters and got into a few nicer fish. Nothing even went 14" but they're bigger than my little buddy up there

Correct, that is a Abu Garcia C4. It is the 4600 series. I've been using it a lot since 2014 and have been very happy with it. I built that rod in 2012 and it too has hauled in a bunch of great fish.
The Dynamic XXL is my favorite all-around lure. I've caught almost everything on it bass (LM/SM), walleye, pike, CRAPPIE, trout, macinaw. The worst and best thing Dynamic lures ever did was discontinuing this lure and finally bringing it back.
Looks like bass fishing is picking up everywhere.
