Lake: Lake Meredith

Any up to date info?

I was talking with some coworkers about fishing this morning and Meredith came up. I have never fished there but I have been there to hunt geese over a decade ago. I tried some Google searching and can't seem to find a site that gives actual water level. I keep running into some lake in Texas. I'm aware it was dried up a while back. I can't imagine the fishing is back to normal. Any info is appreciated. Thanks

Haven't been down there since 2011. It used to be a great crappie hot spot. Too bad the drought killed it. Hopefully it is making a comeback?

It didn't dry up completely. Still has some good eyes and two year old wipers. Not the magic of old but still has fish and is not crowded. The lake is full as are most the southeast lakes.

How about a topo/terrain map? Can't seem to locate one on Google to purchase. Then I have also read it's only 15' max depth which I find hard to believe.
Is there a zebra muscle check at this ramp?
Do they allow OHV around the lake? Thanks

No ANS inspectors. No OHV's and good luck finding 15 ft of water. It is a shallow body of water.
