Lake: Prospect Park Lakes (Wheatridge)

close call at Tabor

Scared Captain Doughball today. My line got tangled in a weed and I started down the steep shoreline to fix it and the shore gave way. I ended up sliding on my ass 6' until my boots were in the lake. Blake was scared I was hurt but mainly I was embarressed. My knee did have a jolt of pain and scared me too but I seem to be ok. Sorry...no video cuz the phone was in my pocket. Got Blake thinking about when he almost slid into the Granby canal and Lewdog bailed him out. Be careful out there shibbitz happens.

Glad you are alright it could have been worse for sure. I'm still very cautious about the inclines I'm on don't want to go through the last three years again.

No it fell in. I was working a crappie jig when I saw my line on the bait rod got wrapped up. I bent my rod handle when I went down but I think I fixed it.

Glad you're ok, that place has a couple of really steep sections of shoreline! Although I would have changed the story to say that a world class grass carp ripped you off your feet and pulled you into the lake. We need to meet up and fish those ponds the year.

bron, you ain't as young as you used to be! Be careful my friend, getting hurt is not near as fun as it sounds. Very glad you're ok.

Lucky for me--I had the phone in my pocket or I'm sure Blake would have started taking pictures (once he knew I wasn't hurt).
