Last year was generally slow for bass or catfish, but the gills were still plentiful during the summer. They put a lot of water in the lake last year and I don't think that helped the fishing. The low water years exposed the fish structures they made when they rehabbed the lake, unfortunately those structures are all out in the middle of the lake beyond casting range. What were they thinking? obviously who ever designed the structures was not a fisherman.
We haven't been back sense that day they all died off it was to tragic.
I keep sayin this
Have as many favorite fishing holes as you can handle cause some day they will kill your fish. I have seen so many lakes and ponds get killed of for all kinds of reasons. Mostly the city's have played the largest role.
