For all my SW Colorado fishy friends it's been tough to find fishable ice in the area. Just FYI Jackson Gulch has about 3.5 inches. Around the shore its only about 1.5 inches but 5 feet out it thickens up. There is a small area of open water to the right of the boat ramp. We fished the Dam area and iced over 60 fish between 4 of us. Mostly stocker bows but a couple Browns and a few perch mixed in as well.
Totten only has about an inch of ice but should be fishable soon so we can target other species. Summit and Puett have ice but fishing has been slow, at least for us. Ice is sketchy at both locations. Be careful and good luck out there!
