Grayling through the early ice

Got out there for the 3rd time this season and caught some nice sized grayling through the ice

Did you find them suspended or down deep? Someone said in another post that they are right up near the ice.

My buddy was catching them off the bottom but everyone I caught was suspended. I'd say most are sitting in 5-8 feet

There's a reservoir near where you caught that grayling that has lakers, what made you target grayling instead? I know there's lakers in the bow you fished but far and few between. Great job man!
