Fall fishing is in full swing, and even as the snow starts to roll in and send the Gunnison valley into winter, the bugs are coming off in force! The river is low, the fish are eating, and there's more water than you could fish in weeks! BWOs, Gray slates, black midges (both on top and as a dropper) will produce lots of quality fish. I've been practically living on the water, without a phone or any means of photography, but the fish pictured is just one of many big, strong fish that I've hauled in on a little tiny dry fly. Best time of the year!
