Lake: South Platte Park Ponds (Littleton Flood Plain Ponds)

Few hours of fly fishing

Got out yesterday with the fly rod. I decided that I'm going to dedicate some time to being a better fly fisherman. Caught a couple of bows in the South Platte below C-470. Had probably a dozen hook ups, but only landed 2. Bite shut down around noon.

Then on the way back, hit the South Platte Park Ponds and landed a few bass on a foam hopper. Then back home to watch the Broncos. Fun couple of hours.

Nice catches! We've been doing the same thing with the flyrod the last couple months. We've caught a lot of fish that way but they have been small.
