....also one of the most crowded lakes in the state supporting mostly 10" stocker trout, you won't be alone.

Fished there 2 weeks ago from pontoon. Fish were pretty thick out in the deeper water, caught a bunch on small jigs 20 feet down in 30-45 feet of water. Berkeley Atomic Teaser Tubes were really effective. Shore fishing was slow in the shallow spots along the road.

Landed only one trout over 11", but pretty lake to enjoy, I imagine bait fishing is good if you can find the right depth. We saw a lot of fish 1-2 feet below the surface, and caught several on small dry flies as well.
Good Luck!

If you want something besides stockers, fish the creek above and below the lake. Plenty of brookies, browns, and a few cutthroat. Nothing much in the way of size but it's a pretty area. Some great hike-to stuff in the area as well.
