Fished Kriley for the first time today with the family fish were active but we couldn't get them to bite for nothing. Soon as we decided to move down to Slough my Kure gets hit and I pull in this guy. Didn't even know they were in these ponds and was surprised I caught him on a lure not sure the species if you guys could let me know so I can add him to my species caught list?

Keep em for the hard water season. That's what you call free bait.

That fish goes for more $'s per pound (as bait) than most edible fish. I gotta figure out how to catch them consistently.
